We just can't believe that we have almost 2 years of history in our first home! 

Our house is supposedly famous for good reason.  At the time of purchase, we were told that the house was designed using a deck of playing cards and scotch tape.  A neighbor later told us that the house was written up in the Florida Times Union as the "House of Cards".  You would think with name, House of Cards, that we might actually play card games.  I think we might be able to fake our way through "Go Fish" or "Old Maid".

Yet another neighbor mentioned that an airplane was built in the garage.  We haven't had any confirmation on this rumor, but it really does explain the mountains of varnish and wood scraps that was neatly tucked away under the stairs in the garage.

True fame comes from the silver screen-like movie screen?  Who would have thought that our 1970's beast would be in a movie?  Our closing was delayed so the movie could be filmed.  We were fortunate enough to have some tickets to the 2nd Annual Jacksonville Film Festival.  What could be more exciting?  How was the furniture arranged, maybe the movie crew painted the awful kitchen, covered the glow in the dark bathroom wallpaper?  HA!  No such luck.  In fact, the movie was so incredibly bad, that it still hasn't been released.  We still want a copy of the movie to sell with the house (the whole of 2 minutes starring our home)
